Dr. Ibrahim Raji is a Senior Lecturer in Project and Operations Management at the Faculty of Business, Computing, and Digital Industries. Before joining LTU, he was a Lecturer in Operations Management at Middlesex University, London.
He holds a European “Doctor Europaeus” Ph.D. title in Engineering and Operations Management from Università Cattaneo (Italy) and Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia). Prior to that, he earned a First-Class Honours Bachelor's and a Distinction-level Master’s degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also holds an executive Master’s certification in Project Management from CUPE Limited, UK, and a certification in Customs Practice & Procedure (with Distinction) from the Northern Ireland Customs and Trade Academy, UK.
Dr. Raji has over 13 years of experience in industry and academia across the UK, Italy, Estonia, Nigeria, and Uganda, spanning logistics and distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, and consulting. His research focuses on operations and supply chain management, lean and agile manufacturing, Industry 4.0 technologies, and sustainable operations. He has collaborated on industrial projects, secured multiple awards and fellowships, presented at international conferences, and published in high-impact journals.
Committed to inclusive and interactive teaching, he ensures active student engagement in discussions. At LTU, he teaches modules in Project Management, Business Research and Strategy, and Operations Management.
In recognition of his track records in the industry and the impact of his doctoral research on Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations of organisations, he was fully endorsed by the UK’s Royal Academy of Engineering for the prestigious Global Talent Exceptional Promise Visa to live and work in the UK following the completion of his European PhD.
